Recoil smoothness? ——- Subsonic 5.56 isn’t something you can run in an AR platform reliably, so you’re always going to have the supersonic crack of the round regardless. You could run subs and essentially run your gun like a bolt action, but we think that defeats the purpose a bit. So sound off below! Firing pin, extractor, bolt, gas key etc, most high wear parts are plain ol AR15 components. The upper receiver being about 1/4 taller than the average upper to account for the internal recoil system also allows the platform to shoot folded, or fully collapsed in this instance. Also makes them great bullpup companions or pairs perfectly with a Ranch Rifle, beyond making a great standard build like this one here.
