We are a popular & innovative Firearm manufacturer located in Boise Idaho. Seeking to hire a SR Horizontal CNC programmer, and will cover relocation expenses for the right candidate.
The company owns all its capital equipment and is very profitable. Seeking a Senior Horizontal CNC Programmer to join our team.

Position requires supporting peers to do set up’s and 1st articles on Horizontal and Vertical CNC machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of fixture design, Production and R&D machining . The Senior Horizontal CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting their peers to grow professionally.
Duties
- Program and optimize Horizontal and Vertical CNC programs using Mastercam
- Perform set ups and 1st articles and support their peers to do set ups and 1st articles.
- Develop fixturing, optimize existing programs and improve production on lights out machining.
- Support Engineering by manufacturing R&D parts and providing manufacturing feedback..
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machinery during production runs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and enhance product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine performance and quality inspections.

Requirements
- Senior level Horizontal CNC programming (Mastercam).
- Advanced fixture design, perform 1st articles etc.
- Improve existing programs, help improve quality and reduce cycle times.
- Support QC to ensure we have adequate inspection processes in place.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Automation and robotics experience is a big plus.
