Welp, here’s what @bargainbintactician had to say “ i think the most interesting part about comparing them was less about which one recoiled “less” but more about “where” you felt the recoil with each one. Because the RMB sits in the buffer tube, the recoil is felt a bit closer to your body. Where as the Sp9a3 has the roller/mass up front, so you feel the snap a bit more on your support hand. One thing that surprised me is that while shooting them the RMB build felt much softer and the dot bounced around a bit less, but on video the Sp9 looks visually flatter. So I think the gun as a whole is moving less with the stribog, but because the RMB moves the recoil closer to your body it makes it ‘feel’ like a softer gun to the shooter. No modifications required to the upper or lower to get it working; although you do need to shave a bit off your magazine lips to get rid of some of the friction between the carrier and mag. Nothing a little sandpaper/dremel can’t take care of in 5 minutes. Keep em coming!
